Studio Floris Wubben likes to keep you informed about our new projects, designs and developments.

Studio Floris Wubben is founded in 2009 and located in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The works of the studio are sold in galleries and shops in the Netherlands and abroad. The design and sculptural objects are part of collections and exhibited in museums like Design Museum Holon (Israel), MAD (New York), Gewerbe (Winterthur), Mint Museum of Craft and Design (Charlotte), Noordbrabants museum (Den Bosch) and Museum of Arts and Design (Singapore).

The studio is known for its unique design that is at the cutting edge of functional products and sculptural work. All designs of Studio Floris Wubben are made in their own workshop.

In recent years, the studio has focused increasingly on the design of machines and processes. In the last three projects -Pressed Project, Hammered Bowls and the Globe Project-  the self-designed machines formed an important part of the creative process. The low-tech machinery manufactures serially unique objects.  The combination of use of natural materials such as ceramics, and the influence of the designer on the making process ensure the characteristic shapes.

Also nature is a recurring element in the work of Studio Floris Wubben. With minimal adjustments, natural products are transformed into functional objects, such as the Stripped lamp and the Upside Down Chair.
